Portfolio > GATHER Sculpture

This body of work continues a metaphorical exploration of transition, joint dependance, multiplicity, and coalescence. Value, shadow, layering, and transparency become more significant with the evolution of the work. These pieces examine the disparate qualities of three materials: paper, wood, and wire. By articulating the differences, and fusing elements into forms, the pieces are imbued with properties of each component.
