2008-2014 PRINTS PAINTINGS DRAWINGS
The prints, paintings, and drawings in THE LIGHT WE LEAVE, CLUSTER, THIRTY IN THIRTY and MEDITATIONS investigate patterns, layers and structures. Organic textures and shapes from nature are inspiration for these compositions, which are structured in overlapping systems. The intention is to generate a contemplative complexity through intricate patterns paired with layered structures. The etchings were created at Wingate Studio using a variation of techniques. The drawings were completed in pen and ink, and the paintings were created with watercolor and acrylic.
