SCULPTURE

My formal lexicon is inspired by natural forms and patterns, which allow me to explore meditations on infinity, balance, and harmony. Exploring classical natural elements in TERRA, AQUA, IGNIS and AERIS allowed me to focus on the state of our environment.
By using forms which repeat, overlap, and interact to create a tension between movement and stillness, in OSCILLATE, TUMULT, AND SYMBIOSIS, I continue in my search by using abstraction to consider these elements interact with one another. The counterbalancing forms play with shifts in positive and negative space as well as relying on each other for support and unity.
