I am searching for ways to convey a sense of fluid motion, shifting direction, equilibrium and stasis, all held within the confines of an object or picture plane. These pieces use light, shadow, value and transparency to explore form in space. With the addition of color, the pieces activate various emotions and moods. The painted sculptural pieces play with defying gravity and a sensation of soaring.
